King of Kings

In the book of Revelation, Jesus is called King of Kings several times. This title is true and fitting. Jesus is the King. Some do not recognize Him as such, but that doesn't change the fact that He is King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

This Christmas let's remember that Jesus is our King., He was King even at His birth. When the angel Gabriel brought the news to Mary, He said,"The Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David, and He will reign over the house of Jacob forever; His kingdom will never end."

The wise men asked, "Where is the one who has been born King of the Jews?" When they followed the star and found Jesus, they gave Him gifts and bowed and worshiped Him.

A recent Barna Research Group poll found that only 37% of Americans think that the birth of Jesus is most important thing about Christmas. That means that many are missing the reason we celebrate Christmas. It is the birth of the King. Is Jesus the King of your life?

Rene' and I would like to wish everyone a merry Christmas. We love you and are blessed to be able to celebrate Christmas at East Hickman Baptist Church.

God is good!

Bro Freddy
