Happy Thanksgiving!

We have so much to be thankful for. God has provided all that we need and when we count our blessings we quickly realize that God is good and that He is faithful. I am thankful for all of you and your faithfulness to God. I wanted to share some specific things we can thank God for.

We need to thank God for the unity that we are experiencing at East Hickman. I feel that when we gather, that God is there in a powerful way and that we are united in Jesus Christ and the vision He has given the Church. I thank God for the new members He has brought to East Hickman and the baptisms which are scheduled. The love of Christ is overflowing. God is good!

We need to thank God for how He blessed the Nominating Committee. In all my years of ministry I have never seen anything like this. Usually a Nominating Committee has to seek out people to fill the vacancies and struggles in their task. This year we had two, three, of sometimes more people volunteering to serve for most positions. I feel that every position was filled by a person who truly felt led of God to serve in that position. God provides all that we need!

We need to thank God for the days ahead, I am filled with hope, and I am excited to see what God has in store for us. God bless you.
